Wow this place is easily one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the South West! The service and atmosphere were so warm and inviting, and the quality of the food was absolutely outstanding. I travelled from Sydney and, after hearing mixed things about UK dining, I was blown away by Woodland & Sea. We’ve been back three times this week, it’s that good! And a special mention to the owner, Ray, who’s an absolute legend! Thanks Ray for our incredible dining experiences!

One of the most wonderful eating experiences of my 59 years. Beautiful quaint family restaurant with wonderful service. The food was sublime, especially the wonderful burrata with homemade pesto. I only wish it was local to us, so we are restricted to holiday visits only!

The owner of the coffee shop is incredibly friendly and polite, always checking to make sure you enjoyed everything. The coffee is excellent – rich and flavorful without being too bitter like in other places, so much so that I didn't even need to add sugar. The pastries and desserts are delicious, particularly the banana bread with chocolate chips, which is perfectly sweet. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, with great music playing in the background. The design of the shop is truly impressive.

Outstanding food honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had and the vibe in the restaurant is so quaint and relaxing. Really nice place to eat will come again soon the halloumi popcorn was lush!

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the charming atmosphere and the friendly owner, who radiates passion for what he does. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and filled with smiles. We ordered the burrata salad with rocket leaves, drizzled with truffle oil and pesto, topped with a delightful mix of nuts, which was served alongside some beautiful fruit bread. It was fresh, flavourful, and truly a work of art on the plate. Each bite was a magnificent blend of textures and tastes! Another star of the star of the show was the garlic flatbread filled with halloumi and a heavenly combination of Greek yogurt, chili jam, parsley, and pomegranates. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re in for a treat! It was rich, savoury, and just the right amount of spice with a sweet finish from the pomegranates. This independent coffee shop has truly mastered the balance of excellent food and outstanding service. We highly recommend stopping by for lunch!

Ray is a lovely owner, super friendly and so welcoming. Amazing food served always, we have had some fabulous steak nights here and we always return. A must for anyone who loves good food!

BEST BURGER IN EXMOUTH hands down. I got the dirty burger and it was insanely good, super friendly staff and accommodated for my picky daughter perfectly 🤣 Washed down with an ice cold Guinness. Definitely will be going back to try the calamari and chicken burger.
